Over the summer, our orchestra have continued to run weekly rehearsals but have ventured online! Our members have taken to it brilliantly, and produced some great videos too. Now that school is restarting, we will continue online for the time being. Any youth players are very welcome to join in – contact us for more information on the sessions.

75th Anniversary Concert – 16th March 2019
Here at Reading Youth Orchestra we are proud of our history and being one of the oldest youth orchestras in the country. This year we get to celebrate our 75th Anniversary with a showcase of talented young soloists.
On Saturday 16th March 2019 at 7pm, we will be at St Joseph’s College performing a beautiful programme displaying our fantastic members’ hard work:
Chaminade – Concertino for Flute and Orchestra, featuring soloist Michi Aneez
Bellini – Concerto for Oboe in Eb Major, featuring soloist Abbey Hardy
Dvorak – Symphony No.8 in G Major
Plus a special vocal performance by David Cox.
